Welcome to The Change Agency (TCA). In joining TCA you are becoming part of a dynamic group of individuals whose mission is to provide the tools and opportunities necessary for adult substance users and ex-offenders to become productive members of society.

TCA was created to address the unmet needs of providing training, involvement, and direction to substance users and ex-offenders returning to the region. It is designed to meet the growing community and workforce development needs in the Dayton area

The Change Agency’s transitional housing program, entitled “Adullam”, was created to aide clients with a history of substance abuse in their transition by offering support and education in a safe and supportive environment. Individuals with felony backgrounds are among, if not the most, difficult to employ. The addition of the challenge that come with maintaining a program of recovery from a substance use disorder makes reintegration all the more difficult.

We believe that lasting change is brought about by the development of strength of character through the practice of some basic Spiritual principles. Our design is to fan the desire for change by offering the opportunity to practice the principles of Honesty, Integrity, Commitment, Courage, Perseverance, Service and Faith in a peer supported environment. The underlying philosophy of our innovative non-profit is that one has to change who he is, not just what he does.
